The marble turkish interpreted by 18 international designers

At the Fuorisalone 2008 was held “Block Exhibition: Turkish marble meets design”, an event promoted by IMIB, Istanbul Mineral Exporter’s Association, which saw the marble turkish protagonist played by 18 different designers.

This ancient and precious material, a native of the island richest quarries of Marmara and protagonist through the centuries of architecture and sculpture of the greatest civilizations, was chosen for the development of an ambitious project which was attended by the Campana brothers, Paola Navone, Matali Crasset, Jurgen Bey, Michael Young, along with other talented professionals.

The result is a valuable and lively collection of unique and unpredictable, each different because filtered through the experience and artistic sensibility of the designer and characterized by a work of research and testing to 360 degrees.
