Someone as popular as Elie Saab, will definitely attract great crowds of onlookers to the show. Such was the condition on the gala event of the display of the Spring/Summer 2008 ready-to-wear collection by the virtuoso fashion designer. The collections were presented in the fashion capital Paris.
Vibrancy is an adjective associated with this designer. The whole wardrobe of dresses presented by him exhibited a sense of exclusive style. The designs of these dresses were mind-blowing.
The approach of glamour and sensuality was clearly visible in these outfits. Knots, light and elegant fabrics with vibrant colors, trendy bags, gorgeous sandals, and hot models- all these associated together to make the show a huge hit.
Just sneak a peek at some of the silhouettes and bags I liked. I literally fell in love with these gowns which are overwhelming to the max. Keep me posted about other things that you liked about the collection.

Riccardo Tisci, who has recently started working with Givenchy , presented his ready-to-wear collection for Spring/summer, 2008 at the Paris fashion week on October 3, 2007 . The collection was a bit unusual for the style of Givenchy (the treasure house of fashion). I liked the collection, but it was a bit too bizarre and revolutionary. I think that it was much ahead of the present epoch.
The designer made use of very basic colors like white, black, and cream. I found them somewhat mundane, but the designs of the outfits I liked, were fabulous. In the midst of these colors, a sudden splash of a dress in violet was amazing.
The use of leather in jackets and shorts was very much dominant in the collection. I really love the outfit with black jacket. The metal used in the jacket corroborates the look. Other designers flaunting their collection at the Paris Fashion Week were Tsumori Chisato, Vanessa Bruno, Tao Kurihara, Balmain, Vivienne Westwood, Junya Watanabe, Robert Normad, Gaultier, Dice Kayek, Stanislassia Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Andrew Gn and many more.
How do you feel about the collection?

Paris fashion week continues to entertain the fashion lovers with the exclusivity of apparels coming from a huge variety of designers. These designers have come all the way to Paris to enrich their own experience as well as to create an unforgettable period in the history of fashion weeks.
One such designer is Christophe Decarnin who has achieved a great popularity among the greatest designers after he relaunched Balmain. He has become a favorite with a large number of celebrities including the Hollywood stars. He has designed his collection, keeping in mind, the taste of the elite members of the society, especially the Hollywood.
Hence, he has done a great effort in making his collection stylish and yet dignified.
The colors are chosen with great caution to suit the style of celebs. White, olive, and also black colors are apparently dominating the entire collection. The strapless gowns look absolutely stunning. The party-frocks are designed with a view to give a sensual look.
The use of glittery metals like gold, silver and brass in the outfits for chains, sequins and studs gives an awesome appearance to the designer collection meant for the elitist group.
I would say that he has rather enriched the whole show with his designs.

October1, 2007 turned out to be a grand day for the fashionistas. The Paris Fashion Week bloomed with the creative collections of virtuoso fashion designers. The styles and designs displayed during the show were marvelous and amazed the onlookers.
The Dice Kayek Collection was also exhibited on this fateful day.
This designer brand is owned by a fashion designer from turkey (Ece Ege) and her sibling Ayse. The collection for the fall was an emphasized because of the variety of colors and patterns used. The vibrancy of colors lent a charming appearance to the entire collection. The dull colors associated with winters were not the only ones to find a place in the collection; the silhouettes were made vital with the use of brighter shades too.
Mini-dresses formed a leading part of the designer wear. All of them looked absolutely stunning. The tunics Made of animal-skins brought light to the designers’ skills. Traditional outfits such as kimono dress of Japan also found a place in the collection.
Overall, the collection was wonderful with the amalgam of modernity and tradition.
