Riccardo Tisci, who has recently started working with Givenchy , presented his ready-to-wear collection for Spring/summer, 2008 at the Paris fashion week on October 3, 2007 . The collection was a bit unusual for the style of Givenchy (the treasure house of fashion). I liked the collection, but it was a bit too bizarre and revolutionary. I think that it was much ahead of the present epoch.

The designer made use of very basic colors like white, black, and cream. I found them somewhat mundane, but the designs of the outfits I liked, were fabulous. In the midst of these colors, a sudden splash of a dress in violet was amazing.

The use of leather in jackets and shorts was very much dominant in the collection. I really love the outfit with black jacket. The metal used in the jacket corroborates the look.
